About Our Lab

Our lab is involved in translational research aimed at understanding the cellular and molecular pathogenesis of acute kidney injury (AKI) by investigating the role of the gut microbiome and T cells during  AKI. Our lab uses cutting edge technologies such as single cell sequencing, flow cytometry, and spatial transcriptomics to further the development of novel treatments for AKI and the transition to chronic kidney disease.
