Andrea recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University in May 2022. She started shadowing at Dr. Rabb’s lab during the latter half of her freshman year and has since continued to be a part of research projects post-graduation. Andrea plans on becoming a physician-scientist in the future, with goals of returning to her home of Puerto Rico at the conclusion of her training. Her research interests include elucidating the role and mechanisms of double positive and double negative T cells in AKI recovery and repair.
